About the Client
Ascari Hospitality Group is a Toronto-based restaurant collective known for its intimate Italian dining, community-driven atmosphere, and evolving culinary concepts. With three restaurants, a bottle shop, and a growing catering arm, the group needed stronger visual consistency and clearer brand differentiation across all channels.
The Challenge
Ascari lacked a cohesive brand presence, with inconsistent visuals and no in-house design team to manage communication across its multiple restaurants. During the COVID-19 pandemic, online communication became essential, and the group needed a trusted creative partner to produce high-quality content, consistent messaging, and unique identities for each brand.
Our Approach
Acting as their in-house creative department, we developed brand-specific visual identity systems, monthly photography, social media content, packaging, digital assets, and corporate communication tools. This full-service approach ensured consistent storytelling and elevated the brand experience both online and offline.
The Transformation
Each restaurant gained a defined visual identity—clear, modern, and intentionally distinct—while the overall brand achieved coherence across platforms. The shift established Ascari as a polished, recognizable presence during a period when digital engagement was crucial.
Impact
Our visuals, photography, and communication systems strengthened brand recognition, improved consistency, and continue to be used by Ascari years later. The partnership provided structure, clarity, and ongoing creative support during one of the most challenging periods in hospitality.
